God Knows

As you do not know the path of the wind
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:5

We can choose between trying to figure out life on our own or we can put our faith in God who knows all the answers.  We don’t have to understand the work of God. However, God does ask us to obey him if we are going to put our faith in Him.  Doesn’t it make sense to obey the one who created us?
Isaiah 40:28 says, “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the end of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary, his understanding is unsearchable.”
Do you realize our God is available 24/7?  He has all wisdom and understanding.  He is always willing to help us and he never gets tired!  It doesn’t matter how many people he has listened to today, he will not grow weary.
Even an 18 year old young man who is in shape from daily football workouts gets tired during a big game and is ready for some rest when the game is over. God never gets tired or weary. He will never be nodding off while you are pouring your heart out to him in prayer!
Have you ever sat down at your computer to run a program only to find out that the latest update has left you clueless? It is very frustrating when a simple task turns into hours of work.  This happened to me recently and I actually gave up in frustration after an hour of fruitless effort.  At that moment, I sat back in my chair, spent of energy, and thanked God that he never changes. I can count on Him day in and day out to be there. I can count on him to do what He says he will do.
God knows me and comforts me.  God knows me and makes me feel secure.  God knows my needs and he knows my future.  God knows!
